Ontologies

The Cell Cycle Ontology (CCO) is an application ontology which holds data about four model organisms. Thus, there are four different ontologies (one per organism) as well as a composite ontology (holding and interconnecting the four specific ones). All these ontologies are available for download in several different formats: CCO composite Ontology: Data from GO, RO, NCBI, GOA, UniProt, IntAct, in-house: OBO format, OWL format, RDF format, XML format (CCO scheme), DOT format, GML format, XML format (visANT), XGMML format (under development), SBML format (under development). In order to avoid that issue, the CCO ontologies could also be downloaded from an FTP repository: ftp://ftp.psb.ugent.be/pub/cco/ontology/
