The Cell Cycle Ontology (CCO) is an application ontology which holds data about four model organisms. Thus, there are four different ontologies (one per organism) as well as a composite ontology (holding and interconnecting the four specific ones). All these ontologies are available for download in several different formats: - CCO composite Ontology: Data from GO, RO, NCBI, GOA, UniProt, IntAct, in-house:
- CCO Ontology per organism: Data from: GO, RO, NCBI, GOA, UniProt, IntAct, in-house:
- Due to the ontology file sizes, some browsers may get frozen while inspecting any of them (in particular the OWL files). In order to avoid that issue, you are advised to download the CCO ontologies instead of inspecting them in the browser.
